Kyle's Supper and Bekah's Baby Shower

Kyle wanted me to post a picture of the supper that he made the other night. I have been incredibly busy lately and when I get home from work/school/other work/etc. I really don't want to slave over the stove. He prepared peach pork loin with peach slices and a peach/mustard sauce. It was very delicious and he can't make excuses anymore that he can't cook.

Today we celebrated Bekah's baby shower. She is about one month shy of bringing the new baby into the world. I can't believe how fast time has gone since she told us that she was expecting, maybe it hasn't gone as fast for her. A girl in our small group made a beautiful diaper cake filled with tons of goodies. This new baby boy or girl is going to be very spoiled by all the small group girls!

Bethany's Baby Name Contest

My sister Bethany is having a baby naming 'contest'...or should I say telling her what names you like. Since my dad and Kyle/I have been the only ones to participate, I thought that I would publicize it on here in an attempt to get more people over there. So even if you don't know her but you read my blog, go comment!

Girls Weekend in Iowa

I got to take a nice little break from Chicago last week. My dad had some extra United miles and flew me back home Wednesday through Sunday. I stayed with Josh, Bethany, and Ethan until Saturday morning and then the girls (my mom, Bethany, and I) went to Williamsburg for a weekend of shopping. Ethan has quite the vocabulary compared to the last time that I saw him and it was fun to chat with him. He calls me "JeeBee".

Ethan had fun with some stickers. What a stud!

We decided to get similar bracelets to remember the weekend.

Alaina's 1st Birthday!!!

Tomorrow (October 7) is Alaina's first birthday. Kyle and I were lucky to be able to make a QUICK trip on Sunday afternoon to see the birthday girl. I can't believe how much she has grown since the last time that we saw her and it seems like just yesterday I was snuggling with her a month after she was born. We will be glad when we are finally closer to our friends!

New Layout??

Hmmm...so I wanted to change the layout of the blog but after one hour of fiddling around I am going to call it quits!
